Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

April 31 review

I am someone who went around to 10 clinics after shopping around for male functional nose surgery. I did not have the surgery and will only talk about the consultation and the feel of the hospital interior.

By chance, after seeing a YouTube algorithm-recommended video about a man who had revision nose surgery 10 times and dreamed of becoming a host, I made a consultation appointment. I made a same-day booking, so the waiting time was quite long. While looking around the hospital interior and the many plaques on the wall, I thought the credentials were not fake. Then some fierce Gangnam ladies came in. They were not hospital staff, but seemed to be customers, and they had a remarkable presence and felt like experts in cosmetic surgery. I accidentally overheard them talking to each other, and they were evaluating the hospital quite positively. Well, equipment matters, and so do the director's career, the consultation manager, and everything else... everything matters, of course. But those older sisters' comments slightly raised my trust in the hospital.

I actually went into the consultation, and the director clearly separated what could and could not be done, and said the functional parts (inferior turbinate, valve, deviated septum) would not be touched much. Some of it matched my own thoughts, and I learned some things, so overall it was good. In particular, the consultation manager was full of confidence. Usually some managers just say, 'The director will do this and that, so this is how much it will cost,' and stop there, but this consultation manager clearly had pride in the hospital and the director's skill, and that was something I rated highly.
