I waited a really long time for the consultation. It didn't feel like I got about an hour of consultation... it felt more like I was just listening to an explanation. If you ask anything, they react as if you're doubting them... I thought, this much should be fine.. I came all this way after waiting so long, so I should be able to ask one or two things I want to ask.. That was my mistake. I think it would be better for both patients and doctors, both time-wise and mentally, to make a surgical plan like a pamphlet and only have people who are actually going to have surgery visit. When I read consultation reviews, I saw posts saying people developed trauma, and I thought that might be an exaggeration, but I really spent a long time thinking about it every night before sleeping and had a hard time. I liked the before-and-after photos, but the back-and-forth in the consultation didn't go well, so I couldn't decide on surgery. They drew an expected nose shape after revision surgery, but that also didn't give me a clear feeling of "yes, that's it," so in the end I didn't go through with the surgery.
