I live outside the capital area, so I looked into plastic surgery clinics near where I live and had it done there!! I live in Gwangju, and people around me recommended ㅇㄱㅈㅇ Plastic Surgery and ㅍㄹㅈ Plastic Surgery, so I went to those two places for consultations. At ㅇㄱㅈㅇ, they recommended ptosis correction, an incisional method, and fat removal, but the vibe was that they only said what they wanted to say, and it felt awkward to ask anything more. At ㅍㄹㅈ, they consulted kindly, and unlike the previous clinic, they said I could do the buried-suture method and didn’t need ptosis correction, so I think I was more drawn to them. My biggest worry was, what if the swelling lasts a long time after surgery? So I didn’t want to do the incisional method, but at ㅍㄹㅈ they recommended the surgical method I wanted, so I liked them even more. The director told me that if my eyes needed ptosis correction, then over 90% of people in Korea would all need ptosis correction, and I was even more grateful for that. It made me feel like they weren’t just trying to make a sale,, My overall swelling was all gone after about three to four months, and now it has been over 2 years since I had it done, but it doesn’t look like I had double eyelid surgery at all haha
