I wanted to have my first surgery done clearly with autologous costal cartilage from the start, so I had surgery here. Used silicone for the nasal bridge and autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip. Now the area where the costal cartilage was harvested seems almost fully recovered. It's been about a month, and people around me say that once just a bit more residual swelling goes down, it should be fine, and that it turned out well. They also take good care of me when I go for follow-up aftercare. They make sure I don't have to wait that long. Everything went smoothly up to surgery, and once the swelling on the dorsum of my nose goes down a bit more, it should be just right.
