During the consultation, the director answered a phone call and went into the operating room to oversee anesthesia.. It is a one-doctor clinic, and I found it terribly unpleasant to imagine that I was the patient waiting in the operating room after receiving anesthesia. (It made me decide that if I have surgery at this hospital, I must bring a guardian and have them watch the CCTV in real time. I thought that way, the doctor probably wouldn't leave in the middle of my surgery.)
The consultation manager mentioned a same-day discount event. They say they don't pressure people into surgery, but the fact that there is absolutely no discount unless you decide that day creates silent pressure in itself.
Overall, both the consultations with the director and the manager outwardly emphasized warmth, but they had a fairly strong commercial feel. I went because it was a one-doctor clinic and the doctor is an otolaryngology specialist, but in the end it felt more like a plastic surgery clinic than a hospital, which was disappointing.
