I went in thinking about ear cartilage, but they recommended costal cartilage. The doctor seemed to have expertise in the internal structure of the nose and such. At the very least, I felt they would not ruin it functionally. I’m worried because the surgery seems like it may become much bigger than I expected. Still, it was worth going.
