Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

Jang Ik-su review from a community

Before the consultation, a staff member had me face the front, side, and upward while taking photos in advance, and the director consulted while looking at those photos. I had an eye and nose consultation, but no separate CT scan was taken. Consultation fee: 10,000 won

Eyes Incisional double eyelid surgery_surgery time 1 hour, 1.32 million won including VAT While receiving consultations at several places, I had been recommended in-place canthoplasty, epicanthoplasty, incisional and non-incisional ptosis correction, etc. (things like, if I don’t do in-place canthoplasty, the in-out line I want would be difficult) so I had a lot on my mind, but I was able to resolve those complicated concerns. He seemed to view plastic surgery from a conservative perspective, and said I have pretty eyes, so I don’t need surgeries that alter the frame such as canthoplasty, and that my eyes don’t need ptosis correction, whether incisional or non-incisional.

Nose 1. Deviated septum correction surgery 2. Nasal tip surgery Surgery time 2 hours, 3.85 million won including VAT

He gives feedback while measuring the nose himself with something like a nasal angle ruler. I was concerned about my crooked nose, but I was able to understand the cause, and he said my nose is pretty, so I came to think that my nose shape isn’t bad. I’m still considering nose surgery. Since there are so many side effects, I’m going to first try correcting the crooked nose through a nose corrector or massage.

Director He didn’t seem to recommend excessive surgery, and seemed to recommend surgery from a conservative perspective. He is older, but he wasn’t someone difficult to communicate with. The part about aiming for natural beauty that suits each person’s own face suited me.

The clinic atmosphere feels like a quiet private clinic. When I went, there were no other people waiting or consulting after me. The consultation took about 20 minutes, and right after the director’s consultation, a female staff member who seemed to be in her 40s explained the surgery time, price, anesthesia method, etc. at the desk. There is no separate consultation with a manager. Simple and plain.

Most reviews are good, but there are side effect reviews in this community, Gangnam Unni, and MissyUSA, and seeing a review saying that two friends became rhinitis patients because their septum was handled incorrectly and that he denied responsibility, I’m not sure whether communication would go well if something went wrong after surgery, unlike during the consultation. He seems more famous for noses than eyes, and there don’t seem to be many examples of incisional double eyelid surgery. Incisional double eyelid surgery usually costs around 2.2 million won these days, so I wonder why this is priced like buried-suture surgery. For now, I’m keeping it as a candidate.

I don’t know whether I’ll have surgery here, but the consultation itself is helpful. Because he told me which surgeries are necessary and which surgeries I shouldn’t do (surgeries I don’t need), the 10,000 won consultation fee wasn’t a waste.

There is CCTV, but when I asked a staff member, they said it can be viewed only if everyone shown on the CCTV agrees to viewing it. I don’t know whether they would show it easily if a problem occurs.
