I had functional rhinoplasty and implant-free cosmetic surgery together! I was really worried about side effects from nose surgery, so I got a CT scan and proceeded without an implant using my own septal cartilage. For me, it was hard until about day 3.. I usually breathe through my mouth because of rhinitis, so I thought it would be okay, but it was definitely different. It was so uncomfortable. Still, once the splint came off and the cotton was removed, it was seriously a whole new world, with air coming in through both nostrils;; I had swelling, including residual swelling, until about 3 months, and once all the swelling went down, it settled in so well, like a nose that had always been on my face The price felt a bit steep to me, but the other places I consulted at felt too much like factories, so I did it here.
