I only had two procedures done: square jaw and cheekbone reduction, and because the cost was high, I couldn’t get genioplasty with chin-tip osteotomy. Overall, my satisfaction is about 8.5 out of 10. I lived with a really severe complex about my face shape, so I’m very satisfied with my current face shape! But maybe because I originally had asymmetry, there are a few things I’m dissatisfied with that other people don’t notice.
First, the amount of square jaw resection is different between the left and right sides of my jaw. No one can tell by looking, but when I touch it, the left side feels like it was shaved down more. I do have sensation everywhere. The cheekbones turned out naturally, but if I were to be a little greedy, I kind of wish my lateral cheekbones had been set in more? But I’m scared to have surgery again, so I’m just going to live with it.
I’m in my 6th year, and I still don’t have cheek sagging or any side effects. Still, I’m going to keep managing it, and if anything bothers me even a little, I plan to go to the hospital right away.
