<Photo 1: the night of surgery, gross><Photo 2: discharged and came home, day 1, lips were extremely swollen.. The inside of my mouth hurt a lot too><Photo 3: day 3, removed the bandage and took out the nasal cotton, feels like I can live now, lip swelling went down a little so my lips can close!!><Photo 4: the bruising around my eyes became really severe on both sides, and my double eyelids were thick too, but they all disappeared ㅠㅠ When will this get better? Please tell me how to get rid of bruises><Photo 5: my skin looks really saggy. ㅜㅜ What should I do about the feeling that the filler is sagging? ㅠㅠ After the swelling goes down, is lifting the answer?>What I'm most curious about is that before surgery, I had full-face filler (front cheeks, side cheeks, nasolabial folds, chin tip, etc.) several times. The filler had been sagging a little. But after surgery, the filler swelled up, and it already feels like it's sagging ㅠㅠ Once the facial contouring swelling goes down, do I need to get filler again, or get lifting, or dissolve all the filler and then get filler or fat grafting again? ㅠㅠ Please refer to the photos. And if anyone has had an experience like mine, please leave a comment ㅜㅜ
I had an appointment at 9:30 in the morning on 5/24. I went into the operating room around 10. I'm a 24-year-old woman, and it was my first rhinoplasty, and I had all 3 types of facial contouring. Day of surgery - Fri When I opened my eyes, it was around 4:30 p.m. Like other people, my throat hurt so much I couldn't swallow saliva, and I kept coughing, so I was drooling as I went to the hospital room. All night I had bloody sputum, couldn't sleep well, and swallowing water hurt so much I thought I was going to die. I kept my throat moist with my tongue so it wouldn't get dry, and just it was extremely hard, but to be precise, it wasn't a surgery I couldn't endure!! It may differ from person to person, and I'd seen a lot of reviews saying it was hard, but for me, except for the nose being really hard and my throat hurting, it was okay. I never want to feel it again, though ㅠㅠ I can endure it, it doesn't feel like I'm going to die.! Post-op day 1 - Sat At 9:30, I went down to the operating room, had the blood drains removed, and they stitched inside my mouth, and it hurt so much I cried.. I'm bad at enduring things like this ㅠㅠㅠㅠ The sensation was weird too. I came home, and my nose was blocked, but something kept flowing out of my nose, so it was hard. I couldn't sleep well that day either, and my nose hurt, so it was hard. My throat hurt too, but everywhere else was okay. Post-op day 2 - Sun Time passed so slowly. As for food, I forced myself to eat well. I like eating so much that I just crushed everything and ate it all lol. Compared with other people, I didn't have much pain, and only my nose was uncomfortable and my throat hurt a little, so it was bearable. Other people say lots of other areas are very uncomfortable, but for me, not being able to breathe was the most uncomfortable. I couldn't sleep properly until this day. Post-op day 3 - Mon Finally, it's today. I went to the hospital to remove the nasal cotton and facial bandage. Taking out the nasal cotton felt so weird and hurt so much lol. I was crying tears ㅋㅋㅋ After removing the bandage, I got a swelling injection, received the facial compression band, and came home. But my face already seems smaller. I asked them to completely cut down my jaw, and it feels like it was cut away well. I think I like my nose too. Being able to breathe makes me feel totally alive. As soon as I got home, I think I slept super well ㅋㅋㅋ My lip swelling was really severe, but now it seems to be going down little by little. On Friday, they'll remove the nasal stitches and nose tape and take out the cheekbone stitches, so I'll bring photos again then!!
