I got double eyelid surgery when I was twenty, and now 20 years have passed and I'm forty. Back then, there weren’t things like eye shape correction, fat repositioning, or lateral canthoplasty. Epicanthoplasty was just coming out as a new technique at the time. Back then, I wanted it to look natural, like I had done it but also hadn’t, so I had the incision made as thin as possible, and there was almost no swelling. A lot of people I met after a long time didn’t even know I had surgery.. As time went by, it didn’t look like I had spent money on it, so I regretted it.. I should have made it a bit bigger.. Now even my eyelids have drooped, so they’ve completely become inner double eyelids.
