When I consulted with the consultation manager, they only showed similar before-and-after photos in selfie form, which was disappointing. CT scans and consultation were free, and while looking at the CT, the doctor explained well whether my septum was big enough and whether it was suitable for my nose or not. They explained with drawings, so it was easy to understand. But when it came to choosing materials, I felt subtle pressure to choose either no implant for safety and use my own tissue for the tip so it would look natural, or to let the doctor decide based on judgment after opening it up to use the right materials for as much cosmetic improvement as possible. I was uncomfortable with the second option because it meant leaving everything to the doctor’s judgment, not even knowing what material would be used, and opening it up sounded off-putting. During the consultation, the atmosphere felt a little like I was being scolded rather than being treated kindly, at least subjectively.
