Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Dissatisfied review of rhinoplasty

I had surgery without an implant: the hump was shaved down, the cartilage was tied, and septal cartilage was used. It has now been 6 months since surgery, but honestly there are more things I’m dissatisfied with. My original nose itself wasn’t strange, and I had surgery because of my hump complex, and since I was doing it, I wanted the nasal tip raised slightly too. But the hump wasn’t shaved properly, and the nasal tip is too pointy, so my nose actually looks longer than before. When viewed at 45 degrees, the nasal tip looks even more droopy. So I went to the clinic and complained, but the director had extremely strong pride and said he did it the way I wanted. He said all surgeries are originally done not with overcorrection but slightly underdone, and that the hump was absolutely not shaved too little, and that this is natural. He said he had fully explained before surgery that it could look natural, but how was I supposed to know that was about the hump? I had surgery so the hump would become smooth, but he said something ridiculous, that if I wanted it smooth, silicone should have been placed. He said if I don’t like it now, he’ll do revision surgery, but then he only talked about side effects and bad possibilities, saying if the hump is shaved more from here, it could become soft, that area could sink in, and if it is removed, the nasal tip could droop even more than my old nose. I absolutely do not want to have surgery again at this place, and because they don’t acknowledge it and instead speak and act as if I’m a difficult patient, I’ve completely lost trust. So I’m going to have nasal tip removal at a clinic specializing in removal, and I’ve had consultations at two places.
