In January 2018, I had revision surgery on both eyes with incisional ptosis correction. But right after the surgery, the difference between my two eyes was extremely severe. Even the lines were different: one eye had an in-line crease and the other had an out-line crease. I was so angry and asked why it was like this, and they said I had to wait and watch for 6 months.
So even though it really felt like hell, I waited. After 6 months, I went back and they said they would do an AS revision. I paid 100,000 won for the anesthesia fee myself, went all the way to Seoul, finally set a date, and in July I had revision surgery only on my right eye, which looked like a sausage eye.
My left eye was also really unsatisfactory because the front was completely buried and the back looked like a sausage, but the urgent issue was my right eye, so I got the AS surgery. Right after surgery, the line looked thinner than before, so I wondered if it had gone well, but after the stitches were removed, I took a photo and looked at it.
Oh my gosh, the previous incision line was still exactly there. So I asked the manager in charge. Then they told me to wait another 6 months. The doctor’s schedule was completely full, so I struggled and finally had a follow-up after 7 monthsㅋㅋㅋㅋ After having surgery at this place, all I can think about is wanting to die.
I tried cutting my wrist, took pills, went to the emergency room and had gastric lavage, and stood on the railing wondering whether to fall hundreds, thousands of times. I had the first AS surgery last July, and it’s already almost been a year.
In the end, I quit everything I was doing, desperately saved only for revision surgery costs, and now I’m going around to consultations at hospitals. I don’t understand how this place is supposed to be so famous.
I remember what the doctor said. Our hospital is truly one of the best in Korea when it comes to incisional surgery. Even if you act like this, our number of patients will only increase, not decrease. In my opinion, you look much prettier than before.
After spending 7 months in such a frustrating time, I finally thought I would meet the doctor, and I had so much to say. I went there planning to get a refund, but all the hospital staff treated me like a problem customer, and in the end I was so angry and wronged that I even cried.
It has already been 1 year and 6 months since my first surgery at this hospital. During that time, my life has truly changed for the worse. I used to go to local festivals and university festivals, but now I can’t even attend a family meal.
Everyone, please really look into hospitals carefully before having surgery. I really want to die.
