I was always worried because my eyes looked sharp, and I wanted the outer corners of my eyes to look more open and more of the whites to show, so I really wanted posterior canthoplasty ㅠ I also have quite a lot of fat around my eyes, so my upper eyelids look puffy, and the double eyelid surgery I had by partial incision 14 years ago would often come undone when I was tired or swollen. I seriously went around to consultations at about ten clinics in Apgujeong, Sinsa, and Cheongdam. The reason I chose the clinic was that I had hesitated after reading posts saying posterior canthoplasty side effects could include tears leaking or the outer corner becoming ㄷ-shaped, but they said this clinic uses a non-incisional method that fixes the back, so those side effects do not occur at all, and there were tons of reviews on websites and cafes. After reading everything carefully, I thought I should do it here, and in the end, I had posterior canthoplasty and revision double eyelid surgery by incision. I had it done last October, so it has now been a little over 6 months!! For the double eyelids, I wanted to make the line more dramatic, but the director said my eyes were too thick and that if we did that, they would look like sausage eyelids ㅠㅠ, so he talked me out of it and raised the line by about 1 mm. Personally, I feel a little disappointed because I wanted more, but it does look natural lol. With the posterior canthoplasty, the outer corners definitely went down, and because more of the whites show clearly, my impression improved. Especially from a 45-degree angle or full side angle, my eyes look bigger. At first, my eyes already looked puffy, and then they swelled even more, making only my eyes look overwhelming, so I was really worried. But after the swelling went down, my impression improved and I like it.
