After my rhinoplasty in 2002, I felt like my nasal tip was turning upward, so in March 2018 I had revision surgery at a clinic near Sinnonhyeon Station. Right after the revision, I had complications, so the silicone was removed, and one year later, in March 2019, I had a consultation at * Plastic Surgery and had my third surgery on March 20. During the consultation, they took a 3D CT scan, and the consultant and doctor were confident that they could operate without causing complications. I trusted them, so I had the surgery.
The result was that as soon as the splint was removed, my nose was crooked, the shape looked like it was lying to one side, the columella was depressed (it’s serious), and my right nostril wing was dented and caved in ㅜㅠ They even made a hole inside my right nostril ㅜㅠ (They said the tissue inside my nose was weak, so it tore just from being touched..) It has now been two and a half months since the surgery, and the columella is gradually dropping even more. The surgery used donated costal cartilage / ear cartilage / silicone. The area where the ear cartilage was taken also became inflamed, so I suffered badly for a month and a half ㅜㅠ The more time passes, the more depressed and sad I feel. I can’t have another revision right away now, but thinking I have to live like this for a year makes me feel like I’ll develop illnesses I never had before.
Can the columella return to normal even with revision surgery?ㅜㅠ Can the crooked nose and the nostril wing drooping to one side be corrected? ㅜㅠ Can I trust * Plastic Surgery again and have another revision there? ㅜㅠ My mind is so, so complicated.
Even when I look at photos of failed nose surgery cases in this community, I don’t think there are people whose columella is depressed like mineㅜㅠ Please share any nose-related information that could help meㅜㅠ
