I had forehead reduction surgery in early April. Because of my wide forehead, I had lived with bangs for over 20 years, but now I’m growing out my bangs!! I’m leaving this post in case there are people who, like me, have suffered emotionally because of a very, very wide forehead.
It’s been almost 6 weeks since surgery now. First of all, since I’m growing out my bangs, I’m not fully sweeping them back yet. The scar is still red. But when I went for the 1-month follow-up, they said I’m on the side with less scarring. What worried me the most was whether symptoms of hair loss would appear, but so far there have been no such side effects. From now on, I’m going to manage only the scar well and try to get through 1 year imagining goddess hair.
