Dr. Lee Bo-hyung, who I wanted to consult with as my first choice, moved to another plastic surgery clinic. The thing I found strange after looking through a lot of old reviews here was that every few months the doctors other than the lead doctor (salaried doctors) were being replaced regularly. The hospital itself felt factory-like, and I ruled it out because the doctors kept leaving quickly. Director Kim Dong-geol is the lead doctor, so event pricing doesn't apply. He quoted a total of 3 million won: natural adhesion 160 + upper epicanthoplasty 70 + inner canthoplasty 70. If I posted a photo review of my eye on the BabiTalk and Gangnam Unni apps, I could get a total discount of 300,000 won. On the first day I went for a consultation, I wanted to see Dr. Kim Dong-geol, but was told he wasn't there and was recommended Dr. Park Min-woo. However, I thought experience was important, so I said no and came back the next day when Dr. Kim Dong-geol was there. The manager was somewhat unprofessional during the consultation with her. She also miscalculated the estimate at the end and had to correct it again. Still, she was kind. Even though I had come back on the second day just to get the doctor I wanted, the doctor's consultation ended in less than 3 minutes. He didn't properly look at my eye structure or characteristics and just finished it there. Rather than considering the customer's eyes, it felt like: if he liked his own surgery style, fine, and if not, then don't do it. Before the doctor came in, the manager had already warned me, 'The chief doctor will get through the consultation really quickly ^^,' but it was still truly ridiculous. Another hospital recommended eye correction, but this one didn't, so I felt there was no overtreatment. Still, this was a real surgery where I'd be entrusting my eyes after paying several million won, and I couldn't trust a doctor who went out after looking for less than 3 minutes, so I canceled the deposit and went to another hospital. At least the manager fully refunded the 100,000 won deposit. The manager was nice, but the chief doctor was completely different from the videos he had posted on the app. I had prepared questions and photos, but the doctor didn't even look at them and shut me down immediately. He said, 'You wrote a lot, but just think of it as, I operate like this~' and left. Don't trust app reviews; definitely go in for an in-person consultation!!
