I’m a 22-year-old man. After an accident when I was young, I had severe rhinitis due to trauma-related internal fracture, deviation, inflammation, and so on. Then I remembered a doctor telling me to have surgery once I became an adult, so I went to an ENT clinic. They took internal images with a machine, whether it was CT or MRI, and it was really shocking.. One side was completely bent and blocked, and the inside of my nose was so swollen that the passage was barely visible. Because of that, I had 4 surgeries: correction of a crooked nose, hump nose correction, inflammation removal, and raising the nasal tip with septal cartilage. Since I was doing it anyway, I also raised the nasal bridge, and seriously... at first I thought I had become Avatar... It was so unnatural and thick that my nose looked completely straight like a single line.. Now it’s much better compared with then, but I still feel like something looks unnatural. When lights shine on me in a dark concert hall, maybe because of the shadows and highlights, my nose looks really pretty, slim, and the line looks nicely curved, but from the front it feels very thick... And after raising the nasal tip, my nostrils stand out more too, so it bothers me I don’t think the swelling has completely gone down yet, so I’ll wait and see.. But since this was the first surgery of my life, I guess I can’t help feeling bothered because something feels disappointing.
