Review on Day 4 After Two Types of Facial Contouring: Mandibular Angle Reduction + Cheekbone Reduction

Surgery day As soon as I got to the hospital, I had consultations with the consultant and the director, did the design, and went straight into the operating room. They said something like, "It will hurt after we give you the injection," but just as I felt something kind of chilling, I fell asleep. When I woke up, I had read beforehand that I had to expel the gas through my mouth, so I kept breathing through my nose and exhaling through my mouth. My throat hurt so much, all scratchy and my jaw really felt like I'd been in a traffic accident. I kept feeling dizzy, in pain, out of it, and it was uncomfortable because I had all sorts of things hanging off me. On top of that, the bed was only about 2/3 of my height, so having to keep my legs bent was so hard. From time to time, not the doctor who operated on me but another doctor, maybe the one on duty that day, came and checked my face condition and so on. They kept checking my urinary catheter, which was a bit..; At the time I was out of it and dizzy and didn't think much of it, but thinking about it now, it was embarrassing...... I kept getting sleepy like that, so I repeated sleeping, waking up from pain, falling asleep again, and waking up. Day 2 Almost as soon as I had stayed up all night, a nurse came, removed the blood drain, and peeled off the tape? from my face... wow.... it was a silent scream. When they remove the blood drain, it feels like something is being pulled out from inside your body.. Rather than being extremely painful, it hurts in an unpleasant-feeling way.. And when they peeled off the taped part on my chin, ugh.. that hurt too. After that I listened to the explanations, was discharged, went to the pharmacy, also bought ampoule-like medicine to take for reducing swelling, took a taxi, and came home. I think I was just in so much pain that my mind stayed blank.... I was so cold and aching like I had body aches, so I turned on the boiler and electric heating mat, slept sitting up, then stared blankly because it hurt, drank pumpkin juice, took medicine, and used mouthwash. From this day on, I didn't bleed much. Just a bit of runny nose and throat-clearing/coughing? For swelling, I thought, "I didn't swell as much as I expected." Day 3 I realized my sense of smell and taste had decreased/been lost. Because I was so swollen, I hadn't known, but taste felt like it was functioning only about 20%, and smell was 0%. My nose was clearly open, but I couldn't smell anything.... I heard some people get this part back later, so I think time will resolve it. I'm trying not to feel too anxious. And I took a light walk. I think I just walked for about 30 minutes. The inside of my mouth was very swollen, so even eating pumpkin porridge was hard. So I'm making banana juice and getting by on that for meals, but day 3 was much more swollen. I think this day may be the absolute peak of swelling. All throughout day 3, intermittent tingling and numbness coexisted. The numbness was continuous for me, and in between I think I had tingling. Day 4 At this point, it's better than day 3. I felt like the swelling in my face had gone down a little. Yesterday was so swollen.... The pain is similar...... It hurts. It still hurts so much. It feels like when you keep ice in your mouth for a long time and then spit it out. And my throat still hurts. Other people seem to get better on days 2-3, but I guess I'm not there yet. I still have phlegm, my voice is still hoarse, and I cough too. Still, the swelling inside my mouth went down a little compared with yesterday, so eating porridge was a bit easier today. I've almost lost my sense of taste, so I've been eating almost only pumpkin porridge for all 4 days, but I don't get sick of it...;;; It just feels like I'm eating to take medicine. I hope time passes quickly I want everything to settle in and become pretty, but facial contouring really seems like a fight against time, everyone. Work hard on taking care of your body and your mind too.
