Had revision surgery: epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction + double eyelid surgery
My appointment was at 5, so I went then, and they made me wait in the pre-op waiting room with some kind of injection? inserted. I was waiting, and it must have been around 7 or 8 then. Suddenly they turned off all the lights in the clinic and left work lol I had something like a needle IV inserted, so I couldn’t even move carelessly.
I was already psychologically anxious before plastic surgery, and it only made me more anxious. No one really apologized; instead, they seemed furious that their leaving work got delayed. With almost no people around, I went through surgery in a dark plastic surgery clinic with a small number of medical staff.
I paid extra to have it done by the head director. Since it was “revision surgery,” wouldn’t I have done it because I wanted it to look different from my existing double eyelids? But maybe the doctor was annoyed; he roughly checked the line once or twice on “only one eye” and said, “I’ll take care of it like this.”
It’s been a few years now, and the result? Same as before. Yep, I threw away 2 to 3 million won and only suffered for months because of the swelling.
