My nostril is severely distorted, so the asymmetry is really bad, and my nose is upturned, so it is clearly visible even from the front. The columella collapsed, and the scar tissue on the columella protrudes outward.
My livelihood depends on standing in front of a camera, but for 2 years after nose surgery, I haven't been able to do my main job...
Because of rhinitis, I had never once gone to a hospital in my life, and I breathed so well that I didn't even know exactly what rhinitis symptoms were.
They said I had rhinitis and that 80-90% of the rhinitis surgery cost would be covered by insurance, so I did it.... But instead, after surgery, I became unable to breathe.
At the very least, I want to return to my pre-surgery nose, but while getting a revision consultation at another hospital, they said even if I paid 20 million won, I couldn't get back to my previous nose, so I argued and left. I also paid 1 million won for tests at a university hospital, but they said they weren't confident, so I wasted only the testing fee.
They said they would refund me and compensate me up to the cost of revision surgery, so I trusted them and waited for 2 years, but now they say that never happened. For them to say that now is so absurd... It seems that at this hospital, you must record consultations as a matter of necessity so that no one else suffers harm...
There were so many advertisements saying they were a hospital good at nose surgery, so I trusted them completely, but for my nose surgery to turn out like this, I wonder whether the director really performed it himself. How could someone who is supposedly good at it make a perfectly fine nose like this? I have serious doubts...
I asked the counseling manager to show me the CCTV, but they said it had been deleted and was only kept for 1 month, so I couldn't see it. I regret so much that I couldn't see it then...
At the time, both the refund and compensation were supposedly things they would fully cooperate with, and both the director and manager said they completely understood how I felt. But now they say they know nothing about any refund or compensation, which is beyond absurd....
And when I was signing the nose surgery contract, the counseling manager brought something like a marketing consent form and told me to sign it. When I asked what it was, it turned out to be a consent form? contract? saying I should post about three plastic-surgery reviews on plastic-surgery communities like Yeowooya and Babitalk.
I was paying 7 million won of my own money, so I asked why I would sign this, and they quickly took it away. But they told me to sign it as if it were something I obviously had to do, so I almost signed it. Please don't do that....
If they used the money they pour into advertising on patients with complaints and treated them properly, even if a surgery went wrong, I don't think resentment would build up....
Even if they play ignorant now, what happened doesn't become something that never happened....
Still, if they had taken responsibility and kept the promise they made to be accountable for that first trust I tried to place in the hospital, it would have been better. I am so upset....
