I went for a consultation about revision lateral canthoplasty. It had been about 2 years since I had done lateral and lower canthoplasty at another hospital. The outer corners of my eyes were not in a severe D shape, just a little spread out, but they said revision surgery might not be able to make them sharp like a V-line lateral canthoplasty (because they were already spread out) I went thinking it would work, so I was a little disappointed. This may also be because I was consulting about revision only, not about re-revision after undoing it. Actually, I wanted to undo the lower canthoplasty and then have revision lateral canthoplasty, but they said if that’s the case, maybe I should go back to the hospital where I had the previous surgery, undo the lower canthoplasty, watch the progress, and then consult again after that, so that’s what I’m planning to do. The doctor’s tone was gentle and the explanations were good, but he seemed a bit busy, so if you have a lot of questions, I think you’d need to memorize them and fire them all off at once. The progress photos they showed were incredibly natural and pretty, so I think they really do have a skilled hand. The manager had a strong older-sister vibe, but wasn’t unfriendly.
