I went for a consultation about silicone removal. At the time I suspected there were signs of inflammation, so I went, and they strongly recommended removal.. I think I went to at least seven plastic surgery clinics about the removal issue, and both here and one other place said it was inflammation and that it had to be removed. In the end, I didn't remove it, and it's been a year now, and the inflammation symptoms have disappeared and I've just been living without any problems..! The consultation itself was very kind, and for people like me who are unsure about whether to remove it, I recommend going to as many places as possible for consultations. Doctors have different opinions, so go to as many as you can and then decide!
