6 years ago, I had ptosis correction + full-incision double eyelid surgery at that hospital, and from the beginning, the double eyelid on my left eye was made higher than the right and with a sausage-like appearance. (My left eye originally had more sagging skin as well.)
As for the ptosis correction, about 3 days after surgery, I was exercising to reduce swelling when I felt like the thread in my left eye suddenly snapped. When I went to have the stitches removed a week later and told them about it, they said it was fine, so I just thought maybe it was okay. But after that, it definitely took more effort to open my left eye, and the double eyelid also came undone quickly.
About a year and a half?? 2 years?? after the surgery, I visited again and showed them the condition of my left eye, and they said they would do revision surgery. Since I did not like that it looked sausage-like and was also higher compared with the right side, I asked them to lower the left double-eyelid line a bit while doing the revision. As a result, I don’t know if the scar tissue under the adhesion of the existing high line was not properly removed, but only the line was lowered while the double-eyelid scar tissue + sausage-like condition remained.
I like my right eye, but I don’t like the left eye even after revision surgery, so I want to have only the left eye treated again, and that is why I am looking into hospital information like this.
