Capsular contracture: 2-month review after revision surgery at Fore Plastic Surgery

I went to the hospital because my breasts felt prickly and tightly constricted, and I was diagnosed with capsular contracture. It has now been two months since my revision surgery. Perhaps because it was a revision, they felt soft from the beginning, and recovery was much faster. Now all the major swelling is gone, the inframammary fold is beginning to settle naturally, and the upper fullness has noticeably decreased. The upper breasts are completely soft, and the area containing the implants below is much softer than before, with a round, supple texture returning. Compared with the hard, tightly bunched feeling caused by capsular contracture before surgery, I feel much more comfortable and think I made the right decision to have revision surgery! Two months later, I have no pain at all from the dissection. I only occasionally feel tiny pinpricks as the nerves recover, but they do not interfere with daily life at all. I can raise my arms high above my head and lift moderately heavy objects without trouble, and I can perform most everyday movements perfectly. I was told I can start upper-body exercise in another two months, so I am gradually returning to exercise as before. The incision scar is still a red line, but I am caring for it by applying scar ointment every day. It is something that will gradually fade with time, so I am not concerned at all. Revision surgery was a heavy physical and emotional burden, but now, two months later, I am very satisfied. Most of all, the prickly sensation has disappeared, making daily life comfortable, and I am also satisfied with the size because I chose implants slightly larger than those used for my first surgery. It is amazing to see cleavage forming! Recovery was also extremely fast because it was revision surgery, so I regret spending so long hesitating about it. If you are concerned about capsular contracture, I recommend visiting Fore Plastic Surgery as soon as possible and considering appropriate capsulectomy and revision surgery after consulting with a doctor!
