Hi everyone!! It seems like many people are considering epicanthoplasty reversal, so I’m leaving my review in hopes it helps.. Please research your clinic carefully, even with the possibility of widening after reversal If it widens, the eye shape can end up worse than before surgery.. Now that it’s been almost four months, it seems to be loosening slightly from the round shape, and the lacrimal lake is visible too! I really wish the lacrimal lake would stop showing now. I was told that matching both sides 100% after surgery would be difficult. In the before photos, the lacrimal lake did seem slightly more visible on the left, but the doctor said trying to match it further might tear the tissue (there was absolutely no extra tissue in the reversal area), so they suggested stopping at this level. They said mine was a very difficult, high-complexity reversal case. Please see the one-month review photos in my post!
