The reason I have no choice but to give a generous rating is.. because nasal implant removal was the surgery I was most satisfied with out of any surgery I have had so far. At first, silicone -> ear cartilage and donated dermis → fracture → costal cartilage... The side effects I experienced all this time were capsular contracture, a pointy nose, and bulbous nose (expansion of scar tissue)... In the end, the answer was removal. After seeing many review photos, I prayed that I would succeed too, and once everything was removed, I think this is enough to say I succeeded in returning to my original state. However, looking back, there are some disappointing parts too. I asked for a closed approach, but after the surgery I saw they had done it with an open approach.. I still have a scar under my nose. Also, one side above the nostril wing is a bit thicker. It seems the amount of tissue removed was a little insufficient from the state where my nose had become bulbous. I have no intention of putting anything into my nose again, but I am considering tissue removal.
I feel very grateful to Dr. Kook Won-seok, but I’m not sure about other plastic surgeries (I later had one other surgery done).
