I went for consultations at 4 places in Gangnam / 3 places in Incheon-Bucheon At Named, I took a half day off on 06/28, went right after work, and had surgery ㅜㅜㅜㅜ I went for consultations in the first week of June (I had to match it to my company's summer vacation period, so I scheduled it in a rush ㅜㅜㅜㅜ)
1. Sinsa ID Hospital : Took a CT / both consultant + doctor consulted me / large hospital : But they pushed too hard for same-day reservation deposit, and maybe because there were many doctors, they kept recommending, saying this director is good and that director is good too : They said they'd give some injection..? as a service. Originally it seems like Botox! I had already had Botox a week before the consultation, so haha : I had a desired date, so in the end I just deposited 100,000 won at first, but it felt too factory-like? Anyway, the whole ID Hospital in the middle of Sinsa has dentistry/dermatology/plastic surgery and stuff like that, so after depositing, I canceled right away and got a 100% refund! : When I searched ㅇㅇㄷ, there was one medical accident? ㅠㅠ : The hospital itself is spacious and comfortable, was the consultation on the 12th floor? Anyway, the view was really, really good and it smelled nice : Since I have a hump, they said to shave that, and because the inside has a severe deviated nose, correct that, raise the nasal tip, and they recommended silicone to enhance the nasal bridge (they said they'd put in a small silicone implant)
2. Gangnam AB Plastic Surgery : Took a CT / both consultant + doctor consulted me / there are a ton of doctors : I went after saying from the start that I had to do it on the afternoon of 6/28, but at first they said there was no spot that day..? Then near the end of the consultation, they said there were two nose surgeries that afternoon, so I could do it during the two hours between the nose surgeries.. But surgeries can run long, and doing it like Tetris didn't seem right, so I left right away : The pressure to deposit the same day was seriously intense,, the consultation ended around 5:30, and they said I had to deposit by 6 to do it for 3.5 million..? and if it passed, it would go to 4.8 million..? or something,, It wasn't something I could decide alone, so I just passed immediately : They said donated costal cartilage was absolutely necessary, and said I had to do about 4 things total, including narrowing the upper nasal bones, shaving the hump, raising the nasal tip, etc. + they said I definitely should put in silicone
3. Gangnam Girin Plastic Surgery : Took a CT / doctor + consultant consultation / tons of foreigners : They also said the afternoon of 6/28 wasn't possible, but then said one spot had just opened up and suddenly recommended another director, telling me the director's career history lol And they said they would proceed by matching the amount I wanted : I had only gone simply to get an estimate, so I didn't think much of it, but about 2-3 days later on KakaoTalk? they sent a long(?) message of about 3-5 lines saying if I was going to do it, they would help guide me through this and that. I was already looking at another place, so I just said I wasn't available that day, and then they pushed another schedule, so I just left it on read : Maybe because the consultant was a bit older, she seemed relaxed, but it felt like she was just trying to make money, so I passed immediately : Here too, they just suggested various things like silicone + ear cartilage + hump + nasal tip, etc.
4. Named Plastic Surgery (I made the final decision here and had surgery yesterday, so I'm going to get the cotton removed soon lolololol) : Took a CT / doctor + consultant consultation / one-doctor clinic : The downside is that it's really expensive.. But instead of doing 3-5 surgeries a day like a factory, they only do 1-2, so I understood : When taking the CT, they said my septum was narrow so I might need donated costal cartilage (donated costal cartilage was actually added during surgery), and when I told them other hospitals said to do this and that, they first asked what shape I wanted and what I was aiming for. Since my face is on the round side and I also have a forehead line, they said I didn't necessarily need silicone, and that shaving the hump and lifting the nasal tip would be enough. Honestly the downside is that it's expensive, but they said this place has lifetime aftercare, so I thought about it a lot : Including the existing donated costal cartilage, it was on the expensive side compared to other places, so I did debate it, but I felt the director was genuinely serious about surgery. Also, because the director does all consultations and every step of the process, there are times you wait a long time for consultation : Anyway, my surgery is complete and I'm going to get the cotton removed soon ~ If you have enough money, a one-doctor clinic is good. Good. Oh, and Named has a lot of private comments, and when you receive them, you understand why there are so many; it's information they only want to know among themselves lol There are even private comments saying the director is handsome. He really is handsome, I admit it : I won't make it private, so if you're curious, leave a comment ㄱㄱ
For the rest, I looked into Metro in Bupyeong, Incheon / Sensejaengi in Bucheon / Pretty World in Bucheon, but they were just not that great, so I decided not to do it in Incheon-Bucheon and went to Gangnam lol None of the Incheon-Bucheon places did a CT, yep. And Metro charges extra for doctor consultation;; My home is in Incheon, so I thought it would be annoying to go get the cotton removed and stuff But Incheon-Bucheon all quoted under 3 million For the same thing, Metro was 3 million / Sense was 2.5 million / Pretty World was 2.9 million For reference, I had eye surgery twice at Sensejaengi in 2016 when I was in 9th grade, and even now in 2024, it looks obviously not good. They didn't remove all the fat then either, so if you look closely at my eyes, one side doesn't close all the way. But anyway, if you ask about Incheon-Bucheon, I'll tell you. You're all going to Gangnam anyway!
