No matter who comes here, I feel like the rating has to be high. It really just feels like the doctor is a true doctor. After the consultation here, everything I had concluded on my own after consulting at several other places got completely shattered. At the previous places I consulted, it felt a bit like, I’m good at this, so just do it my way, but here they explained until I understood, and kept pulling up case photos and materials about how it’s done and why it’s done until I was fully convinced.
Whenever I asked something because I was curious, it felt like, Ah, I’ve already prepared the answer for that question! and photo and document materials would just keep coming out. It felt like taking a class. The hospital facilities also felt a bit like a laboratory sterile room, very clean and tidy, and the doctor’s personality itself felt extremely meticulous.
It made me think the places I’d consulted before weren’t even really consultations, just marketing visits. Whether you go through with it here or not, I definitely recommend going for a consultation.
But I think it would help to go after studying a lot and asking proper questions, so you can get more useful information. (Actually, that’s true for any hospital.) So I wouldn’t recommend it as a first consultation.
In any case, it seemed like both consultations and surgeries were heavily booked. It seemed like they only take one consultation per time slot, and the consultation is very long. I heard they only do one surgery a day.
The thing that bothered me was that they recommended lateral alar reduction, but they said if it doesn’t seem necessary, they tell you not to do it, and that mine was a nose that needed it. They said there are noses where you can choose whether or not to do it, and they tried to persuade me by showing a lot of photos. So I thought, ah, maybe I really do need to do it, and agonized over it carefully, but the manager said the scar won’t be as noticeable as you think now, while the doctor said scars are unavoidable and I should factor that in.
But I really did not want a lateral alar reduction scar, so I decided not to do it there.
Still, they explained the advantages of a round nose with visible nostrils, like mine, so after the consultation I gained a little affection for my nose, which I’d only seen as a complex.
They seem like really good people, and this place is the real deal. But the prices are no joke.
