I visited for my first consultation, and the doctor personally took photos, then had me lie on the surgery bed and checked my skin thickness with a light. After that, they retouched the photos in Photoshop to show what my nose might look like after surgery and explained by comparing them. It felt like they were putting in a lot of care, so my trust in them went up. The consultation said that because my skin is thin and will get even thinner as I age, silicone would definitely show through. They said it would be best not to use silicone if possible, and that since the tip of my nose is slightly compressed, lifting the tip would also solve the wide nostril problem. I went hoping for changes to the front view of my nose, but they said there wouldn’t be much difference from the front and that the tip would change from the side, so it was a bit different from what I expected and disappointing. But I thought the consultation method of taking photos and looking at a fixed image was really important, because when you look in a mirror the shape changes depending on the angle, and that was the best part. The doctor seemed very calm and kind, and showed many photos of surgical results; most of them were very natural. What left the deepest impression was a revision case, and it looked like it changed very naturally, so I thought people considering a revision should at least get a consultation. It was my first consultation, but they analyzed the problems with my nose well, which was a big help in deciding the direction!
