After <after surgery^^> it’s been 91 days today! Time goes by so fast. Mine was cosmetic double jaw surgery, so after finishing orthodontic treatment at another dental clinic, I only had the surgery! done here~ I hated the protruding-jaw look so much, so while looking into cosmetic double jaw surgery, I went for a consultation, and the vibe? felt so comfortable. Looking at the reviews, I also came to trust the director’s skills. I think I was drawn even more by how they upload CT scans before and after surgery if wanted in the cafe, and by the way they communicate with patients.
Oh, and there are people who have straight teeth and normal occlusion but are afraid that if they get double jaw surgery, their mouth will go too far in and they’ll get that double-jaw-surgery mouth shape. If they just push it in indiscriminately, that could happen, but what’s certain is that the director who operated on me considered even those things before going into surgery, so now I feel like my mouth shape actually became prettier^^
As for food, except for ribs and tough meat, I can chew and eat almost everything to some extent now. Ah! Pickled radish and cubed radish kimchi are still too much for me. As for going outside, you can go out after about a week. I didn’t really care about swelling, so from around day 7 I kept taking walks and going around, but since you can’t eat properly, people who can’t tolerate hunger may have a hard time.
Around day 45, I was able to go out and chew things like beef brisket! For work, I took it easy and started from day 60. Usually, some people go to work on day 40, or if early, even on day 30~
Lastly, I’m so grateful to the director who performed my surgery, and thank you to the counseling manager and nurses who smiled and treated me comfortably every time I visited the hospital♡
