<Natural nose> after <1 week after early removal (3 weeks after the first surgery)> after <12 days after early removal> When the splint came off, it had been 3 weeks since my first open surgery. From then on, my nose was definitely more upturned than my original nose, and by week 4 it got even more pig-like I went to get my hair cut today, and I really looked completely like Zhu Bajie, so I came back with a lot of emotional damage. If this were only for a day or two, I’d cry, but since it’s almost one month since the first surgery, I’ve just... accepted it When I look in the mirror, it’s so absurd and funny that I just laugh. When I look under a really bright mirror, like a salon mirror with strong light shining on me, I can see the nasal tip and nasal dorsum developing slight fine wrinkles, and the skin looks tightened. I can’t even do “um-pa um-pa” with my lips, and it feels like something is happening inside When I run my hand along the nasal bridge or look at it under bright light, it feels bumpy and swollen starting from the nasal alae. Even when I touch it, unlike the nasal bridge, there is a step-like ridge. I’m going back to work tomorrow, and I just hope people don’t ask what happened to my face. I’ll post again in August, hoping there will be some improvement in my nose by then!
