Eye Surgery Considerations

Migo Review

Ear cartilage support + filler removal + silicone for the bridge of the nose A pretty standard simple surgery. It seems like each coordinator here gives a different price. And these days, isn’t Hi-C not even considered a revision surgery anymore? It’s even a dissolvable Hi-C, and it’s been a year; how is that more expensive than osteotomy & hump removal..? I don’t understand. Just from raising the price, the variation is huge even though different people have different procedures. Are the coordinators taking separate money on the side, or are they just quoting different prices to each person..? At first they quote a high price and then pretend to discount it, but it turned out to be the same as the Gangnam Unni event price. And then they act like they’re giving a discount. Also, the coordinators here are incredibly strong-willed, which was uncomfortable….. At other hospitals the coordinators are so nice and gentle, but the doctor here is meticulous and extremely kind. If you’re going because of the doctor, I’d recommend it, but considering the overall atmosphere, not so much.. Honestly there was more pressure to book than I expected, so I ran away and didn’t do it. The doctor praise is no joke, it felt almost like a religion? The doctor is really kind, but if you try to ask a question, they already stand up and run off. They do a ton of events, but the prices aren’t cheap either. If there are 3 doctors, it’s basically a big hospital, which somehow makes me uneasy and not feel drawn to it.

+ I had a second consultation, and even without a CT scan they charged 10,000 won extra, and when I asked about side effects they basically said it was too early to be thinking about that and didn’t tell me anything at all. Then when am I supposed to think about it..? The patient wants the first surgery to be the last one..... They advertised themselves as a revision-surgery specialty hospital, but are they trying to make me have revision surgery too..? They said the aftercare lasts 2 years, and that even if there’s inflammation I still have to pay the anesthesia fee and base material fee no matter what. And the app advertising is excessive. They really slash the event price
