I wanted to look natural, like my nose had always been pretty(?), so after crazy amounts of visiting about 4 clinics, I decided on this place. There were two big reasons I decided:
1. Minimizing materials at the tip of the nose (only ear cartilage used) - At other clinics I visited, they said I would have to use a septal cartilage insert no matter what, or that I would need septal cartilage + ear cartilage together to get the line I wanted. Only here did they say that ear cartilage alone would be enough to get the natural line I wanted. The septum is the structural support of the nose and has a functional role, so I didn’t want to touch it as much as possible, and since this was my first surgery, I wanted maximum effect with minimal materials if possible. 2. The surgeon’s career and the clinic’s years since founding - The doctor had been doing nose surgery for at least 20 years and had stayed at Migo Clinic for a very long time. Maybe because of that, the clinic system itself was well organized, and even after the consultation, the manager organized everything best before sending me off. The managers and nursing assistants were generally on the older side, and they felt like they had been there a long time, which increased my trust. They weren’t overly kind, but they weren’t rude either; overall the atmosphere was just plain(?)... The post-op care wasn’t bad either. (Usually places where someone leaves a big hospital, builds experience, and then opens a private clinic are mostly very new, with only about 2 to 4 years since founding...? I excluded those new clinics because I couldn’t trust them, and places where the clinic name keeps changing or where multiple doctors each handle part of the nose are also unpredictable in terms of how my nose would turn out.)
It’s been one month since surgery, and for now I’m very satisfied. People around me also say it looks natural and the nose line is very pretty. At first it looked a bit lifted, so I worried, but as time passed it came down to a suitable level. It’s natural, and the tip of the nose is currently quite sharp?? Even after surgery there was almost no swelling, no bruising, and no bleeding. I didn’t even have cotton inserted, so breathing wasn’t that bad either… I also had alar reduction, so I worried a lot about scars, but fortunately even now the scar is not very visible. If I keep applying ointment and time passes, it really won’t be visible. I was so worried about scarring that I hesitated a lot about alar reduction, but looking back now, the front-view improvement was so big that if I hadn’t done it, it would have been a disaster (There are noses for which alar reduction is recommended and noses for which it should not be done, so definitely no no)
Conclusion: Recommended if you want a natural line and want to improve the weak points of your own nose. If you want a glamorous line or a high bridge, you may not be satisfied.
The reason I wrote this so long is because I also searched like crazy while visiting clinics, so it made me remember that time. I wrote this hoping everyone succeeds with plastic surgery in a way that suits their own taste
