Hello, I’m leaving a review of my consultation for revision rhinoplasty with Director Kang Eun-taek at Migo Plastic Surgery.
After my nose surgery, I had a consultation because of a hypertrophic scar around the nostril area and dissatisfaction with the shape. During the consultation, he checked the inside of my nose very delicately and in detail, and gave me a thorough diagnosis.
For the hypertrophic scar on the nostril side, he mentioned a skin graft, and regarding the shape, he said it would probably be better not to change much at present. I told him I didn’t like how the nasal tip protrudes a bit in terms of shape, and he said it could be attempted by pinching and suturing from the inside, but he could not be certain whether it would be effective. He said the shape should only be adjusted overall in a slightly refined way.
I also have a constitution that tends to develop many hypertrophic scars, and maybe my nose was not suited for surgery. He said that even if I have surgery, I should absolutely not use any artificial materials, and that I absolutely should not have surgery now because it could cause serious trouble. He said I should wait until I recover more. I really liked that he was conscientious, genuinely worried for me, and comforted me.
Also, he seems to pursue a natural-looking nose shape, so if you want surgery in a natural style, although I’ve only had a consultation so far, I recommend consulting with him.
