Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

Things I’m feeling on day 6 after cheekbone reduction surgery...

First of all, the first day after cheekbone surgery was so painful. They say pain levels vary from person to person, but for me, seriously, it hurt so much that I thought, wow, this is something I can never do again.

But as each day passed, the pain from the first day was nothing. It doesn’t hurt now, but every single day is a series of anxietyㅜㅜ

I go in every other day to check the progress, get disinfected, and receive laser treatment. I think they do provide pretty good aftercare, and after surgery I had a CT scan and a consultation about the surgical result. The director showed me my CT and said it was fixed well without nonunion. The surgery was very successful. He said that because his surgical method involves fixing it in multiple places, as long as I don’t eat very hard foods, regular meals are okay. Now the bones just need to heal together well like this. And so on; just like during the pre-surgery consultation, he is still full of confidence.

It’s only been 6 days, but the swelling is going down well, there are no particular abnormal symptoms, and I like the line too.

But even in this situation, I’m anxious. Mentally, I feel like I’m going crazyㅜㅜ

It may be because I’m sensitive, but I search for cheekbone surgery complication cases dozens of times a day. What if nonunion happens, what if inflammation develops, did they manipulate the bone too much? I keep thinking the hospital will just say everything went well no matter what, unless functional problems appear. Honestly, even when they explain while showing me the CT, I don’t really know how to read it, so... I don’t trust what the hospital says either.

I just want the stabilization period to pass quickly so I can go to a regular imaging center, get a CT scan, and hear an objective answer as soon as possible. Time barely passes, and only my mind is restless... That’s how I feel every dayㅜㅜ

I can’t chew food properly, and because I have to be careful even when sleeping, I can’t sleep deeply and keep waking up in the middle.

The psychological pressure and stress are seriously no jokeㅜㅜ

If I could go back to before the surgery, if I had known it would be like this, I would never do this. I’d rather just live with a slightly skull-like face... Seriously, I feel like a person could develop a mental illness.
