I went for a first-surgery consultation because I had a bulbous nose and a low nose, and they recommended either autologous costal cartilage or donated cartilage. They explained that because my nose was crooked, the silicone would need to be placed diagonally rather than exactly in the center of the nose for it to look straight... At the time I thought, what is that even supposed to mean, but now that I've had my nose done somewhere else, I think it was probably right. The director seemed busy and didn't explain things in great detail, but they looked professional.
