Eye Surgery Considerations

Cookie community review

I liked that I went in almost without waiting, took photos, and went to the consultation room right away. The hospital atmosphere generally felt quiet. That might also be because I went a bit late. Here, the consultant speaks really well. The consultant was friendly and explained things clearly. I saw posts saying the director doesn’t talk much during consultations, and I think I know what they mean. He’s not the type to take the lead and explain in detail first; it felt like he only answered what the patient asked? I also wondered if he was very tired because I went a bit late and he had surgeries in the morning. Maybe because the director doesn’t explain or talk much during consultations here, unusually, when I had the consultation with the director, the consultant also stood in the same room behind us and listened. (In my experience, at other hospitals they all stayed outside and came in after the director’s explanation ended. But since she was inside, that was good in its own way.) I liked that they do 2 surgeries a day and that he has a long career, but since I’m not the type who wants an extremely doll-like line, I think I need to think a bit more about having surgery here.
