I had revision incisional ptosis correction. I remembered collecting information by looking around different sites 3 years ago, so I’m writing a review! For reference, I really dislike large hospitals and also hate looking obviously operated onㅠㅠ so this place was just right for me.
3 years ago, I was scared of incisions, so I had non-incisional ptosis correction, and because my eyelids are very thin and 3 years had passed, it had loosened a lot. I was also very, very satisfied back then, so I went back to Iwaback without hesitation, and after the consultation, I had surgery the very next day! My glabella is already very narrow, the distance between my eyebrows and eyes is narrow, and the orbits themselves are very asymmetric, so my eyes are difficult.. From the design stage until the end of surgery, I could see that they were being thorough and delicate and trying to do it the way I wanted, so I really liked it and felt reassuredㅠㅠ The surgery was.. of course painful, but I tried as much as possible not to tense my eyes.. and endured it while thinking about the eyes that would become prettyㅎ For reference, since this was revision surgery, I had quite a lot of bruising. At first, my eyes also didn’t close completely, it hurt and was uncomfortable, and the swelling went down unevenly, but I thought time would fix it and the director must have done it well, so I didn’t worry much and focused only on swelling care. At first my whole face was swollen, so I looked even uglier, but you have to get through that periodㅋㅋㅋ I think the bruising and full-face swelling were completely gone around week 2. The occasional pain in my eyes disappeared completely around week 3? or from the 1-month mark. I went back to work from day 4 after surgery, fully armed with thick horn-rimmed glasses and a bucket hatㅋㅋㅋ
From the day after stitch removal, I gently washed my eyes and started scar care. I’d seen in reviews that scar tissue often forms around the 1-month mark, but I’m fine! And I was really worried that with incision, my double eyelids would become sausage-like.. That’s why I did non-incisional the first time. But after a month passed, except in the morning, they’re not that puffy!
My midface is on the long side, and now that my eyes are clearly more defined, my face definitely looks shorter, which is nice. Most of all, I no longer open my eyes using forehead strength at all. Even if I deliberately try to open them by putting strength in my forehead, it doesn’t work.. It’s really, really, really comfortableㅠㅠ As expected, incision seems to hold the eye-opening strength more properly than non-incision. When deciding on revision surgery, I was debating whether to do incision or non-incision, but I want to praise myself for choosing incision.. I really did wellㅠㅠㅠ
Everyone says it turned out well, and they’re surprised that I have less swelling than other people. I’m going on a trip in 2 weeks, and I’m curious how my eyes will change by then.. I’m already living very satisfied right nowㅎㅎ
