I originally first got tempted to get a posterior canthoplasty maybe 2 years ago? The urge somehow died down, then I started getting interested again. I think it really started when my friend was looking into hospitals while getting dual canthoplastyㅠㅠㅠㅠ That’s how I found out about this community..ㅠㅠㅠ It really helped me a lot, thank youuu In my case, there was such a huge... difference between when I wore makeup and when I was bare-faced, and on top of that I have monolids, so I had to draw my eyeliner really thickㅠ So I started wanting dual canthoplasty. I think I started thinking that I should have surgery during Lunar New Year around September? Back then I searched like crazy here, and I remember the consultants at a few consultations saying wasn’t I thinking about the surgery date way too far in advance ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, it’s already been a week since surgery, so I got my stitches removed todayㅠ My left eye’s swelling has gone down a lot, and I think it just needs the redness to calm down a bit. But my right eye, wow, today at the hospital when they squeezed out a bit of the swelling, I seriously thought I was going to die because it hurt so much.. They say the swelling goes down quickly after the stitches are removed, so I’m trying to stay hopeful.. On days 2-3, the conjunctival edema was really severe, so all kinds of thoughts went through my mind, and I kept searching online only for ways to reduce conjunctival edema ㅠㅠㅠㅠ As it gradually went down and the outline of my eyes started showing, I began to feel a bit hopefulㅋㅋㅋ They say 2-3 weeks is downtime.... For now, my eye line suddenly changed, so I’m not used to it and it still feels a bit unnatural, but soon... it’ll be okay, right....?ㅠㅠㅠ Does it look like it’ll turn out well.. My right eye is still very bouncy with swelling. I brought 1 bare-faced before photo (I won’t upload the makeup one in case someone recognizes me..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ), 1 middle photo (from yesterday before stitch removal, after removing the bouncy conjunctival edema part, the one I shared with a friend), and 1 after photo (today after stitch removal)...
