My upper eyelids are on the thicker side, and my double eyelid crease sometimes appears and sometimes doesn't. I consulted with the goal of a clean, not-too-thick double eyelid crease and lowering the outer corner of the eyes. When I met with the manager, she said it might be fine to do it without incision rather than insisting on an incision, but when I met with the doctor, he said it would probably still look pretty even if we made it larger, plus he recommended epicanthoplasty. I went there because I heard they are not the kind of clinic that recommends a lot of extra procedures, but they suggested the full package... the price was astronomical. I was scared the epicanthoplasty might turn out weird, and I couldn't ignore the price either, so I had incision double eyelid surgery with canthoplasty, probably ptosis correction + lower eyelid fat repositioning as well, and it's been two days now.. I guess I'll only know once all the swelling goes down, but I do slightly regret not getting the epicanthoplasty too. There must be a reason they recommend it... But the price was horrifying... sigh. If I'm really not happy with it, I'll have to add it later... well...
