Before surgery, I was coming in and out of this community day and night collecting information lololol so I’m leaving my review too. As of today, it’s been about two and a half months since surgery.
For plastic surgery, really... I think finding your own style is the most important thing. First, my criteria for choosing a hospital were:
1. Closed hump nose surgery / no implant 2. A place that pursues as much!! naturalness as possible 3. Able to do deviated septum surgery at the same time That was it. So the place I chose was an ENT clinic.
My nasal bridge was originally high and thin, so instead of osteotomy, I had it done by shaving it down, and the nasal tip cartilage was repositioned to slightly lift my drooping nasal tip.
The place I went to does local anesthesia without sedation, so even though it didn’t hurt during the surgery, it was mentally difficult.. But during surgery, I could look at my nose shape myself and say, ah, please shave this area a little more... and refine it more(?) so that was good.... lololol And they said local anesthesia is less risky, so I endured it.....
Since they shaved down only the hump area I wanted, from the front, there’s no unevenness, so it looks clean without being obvious, and from the side.. it used to be a lifelong complex to the point that I cared even if someone just stood next to me, but now I don’t care about it at all, so it feels hugely freeing lolololol I wanted the line to fall in a straight line too, and it turned out the way I wanted, so I’m satisfied.
Maybe because it was closed surgery, there’s no scar, and first of all, it doesn’t show on the outside, so friends I hadn’t told about the surgery didn’t even notice I had it done. It’s that natural lololol I wonder why I hesitated lol
Oh, and honestly, for the septum surgery, since I was already getting hump nose surgery, and I originally breathed only through one nostril, I had it done together. Now after rhinitis surgery, air passes through both nostrils, so I’m satisfied~
