Director Park No-hyeok was extremely straightforward, and he spent about 30 minutes just on the consultation, looking at me in great detail. (As soon as he came in, he very casually pointed out my posture from the way I was sitting, saying my shoulders and neck bones were twisted..) The coordinator was also really kind, and I felt like she guided me well before and after the doctor’s consultation, so the whole experience was comfortable and detailed and lasted a long time. My concerns were a 45-degree cheekbone and hollow cheeks, so I went in for cheekbone consultation, but he suggested a different surgical direction that I hadn’t considered. At previous consultations, I had been recommended cheekbone surgery and full facial liposuction for the same concerns, but here he said that because my skin elasticity is weak, cheekbone surgery would be a disaster and recommended improving things in a different way. After hearing what the doctor said, I was glad I could think again about what direction I want my face shape to improve in. The consultation fee was 20,000 won; I had prepaid through KakaoTalk when booking to prevent no-shows, and it really didn’t feel wasted at all. The doctor hit me with some hard truths, which stung a little, but he was right, and I was very satisfied with the consultation. I do need to think more because of the cost and because the proposed direction came up a bit suddenly, but if you’re worried about your face shape, it might be good to go for a consultation. I rated the expected surgery based on safety (whether anesthesia is used, the doctor’s experience, etc.), before-and-after photos, my own intuition, and so on, since I haven’t had the surgery myself!
