Since it was eye surgery, I had a consultation at a plastic surgery clinic.
The consultation started right away with the director. After first checking my desired eye shape and other preferences, the director explained step by step about options such as a forehead lift and double eyelid surgery, and recommended a sub-brow lift as the surgery that would suit my current eyes best. Their style seems to prefer natural improvement while preserving the original eye shape, rather than changing the eyes to a dramatic look. They seemed confident about the surgical direction, so I don’t think I would be worried even if I had surgery there.
They showed photos of previous surgical patients. Some people’s sleepy-looking eyes had improved a lot, but honestly there were also many photos where there was not much difference. It seems like a surgery with greater effect for people whose outer eye corners droop a lot on both sides. Since sagging can gradually worsen with age, it would not be bad to have it separately from double eyelid surgery, but the cost was more expensive than expected, so that is something I’m thinking about.
