- Details: Talked with the director for 10 minutes and the consultant for 20 minutes. It was my first nose surgery consultation, and as soon as I sat down, they explained my drawbacks and points for improvement in detail, and only recommended things within a range that would not harm my image, so I felt trust. When I asked if I couldn’t go higher, they said this place does not do flashy results and that a natural result would be better. They said they would make it so 9 out of 10 people would not notice. Since my skin is thin, they recommended not going above 3 mm and recommended Gore-Tex (when I was getting the consultation, I didn’t know whether this was a hospital that only uses Gore-Tex). After that, I also consulted with the consultant, and they said similar things and showed me before-and-after surgery photos. Since I wanted something natural, I liked the photos. They also said this place specializes in revision surgery, so it was interesting that I came for a first-surgery consultation, and that I came to the right place. The surgery takes around 1 hour, and they said they do not block the nose with cotton (the part I liked the most). It is done with sedation anesthesia + local anesthesia, and there are no preoperative tests or fasting. They said they do not put patients completely to sleep because it is dangerous. The reservation deposit is 100,000 KRW, and they said there is lifetime A/S. No events and no pressure to reserve.
- Concerns: I liked the consultation the most, and technically I feel a lot of trust, but I’m debating because it seems they do not consider the functional aspect very much. In particular, the fact that they said there is no need for preoperative CT scan, fasting, other tests, or other preparation is actually what worries me. Personally, more than other cosmetic surgeries, I think any surgery that touches bone even a little, including nose surgery, is greatly influenced by the individual’s physical condition... Also, I didn’t know whether this was a hospital that only uses Gore-Tex, and I went without even knowing what it was. After looking it up, I’m also bothered that there is a lot of debate about the material. Still thinking about it.
