I went in for a consultation for skull shape correction for a flat back of the head. Here, because they make the implant in advance with bone cement, you have to get a 3D head CT first before the consultation, and that costs 300,000 won. After that, you do a non-face-to-face consultation, which costs 100,000 won, and when you go to the hospital they take a skull X-ray and if you submit questions, the doctor sends video answers by email. Then if you want to proceed with surgery, you do an in-person consultation, which costs 100,000 won, and at that point they make a model of your skull for the consultation, and you have to pay the manufacturing cost in advance. Depending on how flat the back of the head is or how asymmetric it is, the surgery cost is 11 million won plus alpha.
