Visited for a consultation about revision surgery for high-line sausage eyes Previous surgery was full incision + ptosis correction + posterior canthoplasty I visited twice with a 3-month interval, and during the first consultation, as soon as I went in, put on the headband, and sat down, before I could even ask questions, the doctor identified the problems and rapidly explained how the surgery should be done. The surgery was the same for everyone who had revision surgery: incision along the existing line + ptosis correction. (I found this out after looking up other people's reviews. At the first consultation, I only said “yes, yes” and left, so I knew it was an incision, but I did not accurately understand whether tissue would be excised or not.) It felt like the consultation ended in 5 minutes. It is such a famous place, and they consult on everything on their own even if you do not ask, so I trusted them and had mentally put them as my first choice. The reason I visited a second time was that I did not remember the consultation details accurately. As soon as I went in and put on the headband, the doctor told me to ask anything I was curious about. When I asked whether they would not do excision and would only make an incision (information I had figured out from other people's reviews), the doctor immediately asked whether I had watched their YouTube. I said I had not, and they sighed, then explained it once again. They said they would open along the existing line as it is, make the fixation weaker, and adjust it, and that doing so would lower the line. But my front line is quite thick, so I asked again whether that could really lower the front part more, and they explained the same thing again. Since I was only hearing the same explanation, I said I still did not understand well, and they said it would be a problem even if I did it later. They did not show me even a single postoperative review photo. Isn't it natural that a layperson who is not a doctor would have difficulty understanding only an explanation without photo reviews or anything like that? I thought it would be better if they told people when booking the consultation to watch the director's YouTube before coming. They asked whether I had any more questions since I had come from far away. I could not think of any questions or anything, and I just felt like I had come for nothing. At the first consultation, I had really wanted to have surgery here even though the cost was high because the consultation was quick and accurate, but after the second consultation, my mind changed completely.
