I went for a consultation because this was a clinic I kept seeing often in cafe posts and reviews. First of all, there were quite a few people at the clinic, and it gave me the impression that it was a reasonably trustworthy place.
I waited about 15 minutes after my appointment time before going in for the consultation. It’s a format where you see the doctor and then the consultant, and I think I consulted with the doctor for about 5 minutes haha As soon as they looked at my eyes, I was recommended epicanthoplasty + eye correction + double eyelid surgery (buried sutures or incision) and also under-eye fat repositioning.
I thought the doctor’s consultation style could be hit or miss- The doctor seemed busy first of all- the consultation was short, and when I said my biggest concern was severe asymmetry, they firmly said, ‘Even if you get surgery, it may not become perfectly even.’ It did seem a bit like they were pushing a fixed answer, but still, if you get double eyelid surgery, the asymmetry will probably improve to some extent, so hearing it like that felt a bit hurtful... haha
But the consultation staff here are really.. good.. Honestly, I thought I didn’t match well with the doctor, but I even considered getting surgery because of the consultant.
The cost was the best among the clinics I visited for consultations-
