The doctor was the first person to point out that my eyes have ptosis but also don’t close well. In such cases, if the patient has dry eye syndrome, the dry eye can get worse after surgery. It seems that for eye surgery, if the case is severe, they may not operate without a letter from an ophthalmologist. I took it not so much as shifting responsibility, but as a way of telling the patient in advance about possible problems, regrets, and pain after surgery and warning them.
The manager... It was the first time I’d seen a middle-aged manager in Gangnam with no makeup on. Hah. She had the feeling of someone who had spent a very long time in this hospital alongside the director. Her presence was incomparable to the nearby older sisters who brag about having worked as managers for 4 or 5 years. She consulted me about everything that couldn’t be discussed with the director, and even felt warm enough that I think she would listen well if I contacted her anytime in case a problem came up.
Rather than places that speak as if everything will work out, the swelling will go down quickly, and there will be almost no pain, I trust a place that honestly explains every step.
If something can’t be done, they say it can’t, and if it can be done, they do it, and post-op care was also well prepared (such as shots to reduce swelling).
I haven’t decided whether I’ll have surgery here, but if I have something to worry about in terms of cosmetic surgery, I’d like to meet the manager again and discuss it..
